Philanthropy International – is a National Community Foundation that partners with the professional advisor community and is endorsed by the March of Dimes. Representatives may choose to subscribe to Philanthropy International. They offer valuable educational seminars and training programs with creative, cutting-edge planned giving approaches. This increases your knowledge of innovative tax-exempt strategies, develops new avenues for marketing your business, helps you discover a unique way to develop more assets under management, and be in a strategic position to bring value to your clients’ favorite charities and other professional advisors.
Guardian University – online training for Guardian Financial Representatives
A comprehensive and dynamic set of training programs, Guardian University is also affiliated with the American College, which aids in continuing educations through Guardian Professional Development Certificate Programs.
Access to Guardian University is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through its Virtual University, which enables Financial Representatives to find support materials for activities such a as underwriting, product sales, policy maintenance and general technology needs like client mining and data management.
Continuing Education Seminars – Held in our agency office monthly, and presented by a variety of qualified experts in the financial industry.
Continuing Education is required for Agents who hold out-of-state insurance licenses. These seminars are also an opportunity to learn about certain financial subjects in a more in-depth presentation, and meet fellow financial representatives and brokers in the community.
Guardian Online & Lotus Notes – online and in-house training.
Our training intranet, Guardian Online (GOL) is the platform for all your day-to-day needs, such as email, access to Virtual University, access to forms and compliance information and links to your home office.
Guardian Online is your resource for many financial tools and reports, as well as online training.
Lotus Notes is the Guardian’s email and calendaring system.
Accountants Resource – Accountants alliance program.
Accountants Resource is a non-profit group, funded by Guardian, and dedicated to providing CPAs professional guidance and resources to expand their practice in financial planning.
Guides, brochures, slideshow and promotional collateral material assist the Financial Representative in creating alliances with accountants and CPAs to provide financial services and planning to their clients.
SmartOffice – online training offered through Guardian.
SmartOffice is a robust customer relationship management system. Many pre-approved reports are preloaded to help you track your business and manage your client base.
