Earl J. Luttner, CLU
CEO and Chairman of the Board,
Lifetime Financial Growth, LLC
Earl Luttner entered the insurance industry in 1967, incorporating Luttner Financial Group, Ltd. (LFG) in 1969. In 1974, LFG became a general agency with General American Life Insurance Company and grew to become the number one agency nationally.
In 1991, LFG became a Guardian general agency. Since then it has consistently ranked in the top six agencies nationally. Earl was among a few general agents chosen to mentor select general agents and career development managers.
Known for his vision, Earl championed the integration of LEAP, Advocacy, and most recently the Living Balance Sheet into the agency culture, changing and improving not only the sales and service processes used to protect clients, but also greatly enhancing agency revenue and retention.
LFG qualified for GAMA International’s Master Agency/ Firm Award ten times. In 2004, the agency won Guardian’s most prestigious award, the President’s Cup.
Earl joined the Guardian with twelve Financial Representatives in 1991 and currently has almost 200 FR’s. As Guardian implemented the GA transition plan, Earl recognized the value of building a regional firm. Therefore, Earl has worked diligently toward attracting, motivating and retaining a highly qualified successor management team.
His leadership extends into the community, with his involvement in the United Way of Allegheny County and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Pennsylvania. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Assistance Group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting American families who wish to adopt children from Russia and Eastern Europe.
